BMIMC is currently planning to build new staff accommodation as the next stage of the development of the centre. The aim of an earlier stage from 2003 - 2005 was to create a higher standard of student accommodation than the old Sasana House offered.

Subsequently, our annual appeals have raised funds to improve the amenity and confort of the centre for staff and yogis, first by installing central heating in the meditation hall, the new student accommodation and then Sasana House. From 2007 - 2009, funds raised were used to make extensive improvements to the paths and walkways throughout the Centre. In 2009, funds were applied to connect the Centre to the Sydney Water sewerage system.

In 2010, with plans for new staff accommodation approved by Blue Mountains City Council, we are seeking donations with the expectation we will commence building in 2011.
